A Ghillie-Weetfit
Single Chanel Video Projection

2014
The video work consists of a single-channel rear projection in the windows of the windows of the gallery. The projection interacts with the theme of camouflage that developed in this body of work and will be projecting what looks like shadows of trees filtered though sunlight onto the windows. The 'artificial' (architectural/built) landscape will bleed into the ‘artificial’ projection of a natural phenomenon. A ghillie-weetfit was a Scottish term for a servant whose duty it was to carry his master over streams while hunting.
